A Story With Pictures
posted by Clay on Mon, Apr 4th 2005After a week of working on the floor, my computer couldn't take anymore (I know it's bad for the computer to do that, but I had no desk, and therefore, no choice.) For those of you who don't know, this is why it's bad. Just look at that heatsink. Ew. Anyway, I cleaned out my heatsink and power supply, but I was still experiencing strange crashes, system lockups, you name it. I got my good friend Greg to come over and take a look at it. He said it was most likely the power supply, and because I needed to get a new one anyway, I went to the Microcenter and bought one. This didn't fix the problem. After rulling out the power supply, Greg found the culprit. I just bought that ram too... I'm running at half capacity now, but things at least things are working. I've also got a new power supply that apparently has the strength of a puma. It also has, I kid you not, a sensual leather-like texture. Hot! Now if only it would make the sound of a puma growling when I start it up. Rwaaaorw!
Because of the crash that lost me 5 hours work, I'm just skipping Friday's comic. This one is Monday's and I'm not going to kill myself to get two up by the end of this week. You may have noticed that it looks different. That's right, armed with the logic that you can't corrupt paper, I broke out my pens and pencils and drew it by hand. This is the first, and maybe the last time I'll ever do this. but it has left me with something unique, a large bristol board ink version of my comic. I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet, but if any of you are interested in purchasing it, I may consider selling it. I'll have a picture up soon, so email me if you want to own it.

posted by Clay on Wed, Apr 6th 2005The side bar vote thing started to annoy me, so it's gone. Buzzcomics is still a good place to look for comics though. I just didn't want to ask for you guys to vote or to put a sign on the front page anymore. Just some random art... zom-boy

posted by Clay on Thu, Apr 7th 2005I intended to change out the link on the side of the comic on a regular basis, but I never got around to it. I still love Beaver and Steve, and the link to his site will return to that spot eventually, but I figured I should change it up a bit. I'm now featuring Joe and Monkey for a while. Mainly because his comic rocks hard-core and makes me laugh. I also did a guest comic for him a while back, and it was really fun. Zach, I hope you don't mind the cut and paste job I did on your banner to make the animation. :)
Edit: I know I misspelled Kleptobot. I'm at work and have no way of fixing it. I'll fix it when I get home.
